Council of Professional Living Donor Advocates

The National Kidney Foundation was proud to launch a new professional council-the Council of Professional Living Donor Advocates (CPLDA), NKF’s fifth professional council. Living Donor Advocates (LDAs) are hospital-based professionals who are charged with ensuring protection of the rights of living donors and potential living donors.

The CPLDA advises the NKF regarding public policy recommendations to support living donors needs and develops “best practices” for the profession.
